A single man inside his house does his daily evening routine. But this routine would be disturbed by an evil twin.

Production

Writing

The film was written in a short time span of only a single month. The film's writing described each scene and how each would play out. Pickyman Studios goal was to create a chilling and thrilling short film, which was never really met before aside from maybe one successful jumpscare and a few thrill moments from the past. Also, the film goal was to be more of a quiet film with sounds added on in post-production, which would be a first for Pickyman Studios. To prevent things from getting complicated, the writing was set for a five minutes-or-less film. Pickyman Studios adopted the first draft in early October.

Filming

During the production phase, the writing was barely changed at all. In the early parts of filming, scene correction took most of the time. Scenes like the sink, kitchen, and computer room were all corrected to appear less cluttered and less distracting. Since the film was supposed to be quieter, background noise was not that much of a worry but was reduced just in case.

Post-production

After filming, the film was edited into two parts. The first was silencing the film and adding the object/ambiance noise. Then the next was adding sounds and music and the mirror scene. The mirror scene in the film was a first for Pickyman Studios.

Reception

Viewership

Pickyman Studios uses a year timeframe to determine what series or film was successful. Since the film was released too recently we cannot determine that. But, in the first week, the film racked up a total of 43 views.

As of April 27th, 2023, the film has been watched 73 times and obtained ten likes.
